Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process all sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing via Toast
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by pre-bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation and serving beverages, including spirits and wine service, to meet guest expectations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Toast is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus, showcasing your ability to handle high-volume service with professionalism
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills confidently

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
