Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your role is vital in creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. The ideal candidate will possess strong food and beverage skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for hospitality that shines through in every interaction.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation practices required
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
• Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
