Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed.
• Foster guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and basic math skills for processing transactions.
• Experience in fine dining or hospitality settings demonstrates your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation and safety standards.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures ensures compliance with health regulations.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
