Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and provide correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling practices, and ensuring cleanliness of work areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest requests promptly

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation
• Proven ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Previous experience in fine dining or food industry settings such as restaurants or nightclubs is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance

Pay: $22.77 - $27.42 per hour
