Job Overview
La Crepe Downtown, breakfast and lunch restaurant. We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest needs, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, professional service throughout their visit
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety procedures
• Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas including bussing tables as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems or similar platforms
• Support guest relations by providing personalized service and creating a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred
• Knowledge of POS system is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is preferred
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Experience with food handling, food preparation, and restaurant sanitation standards
• Flexibility to work morning shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
