Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair, adhering to proper drink service protocols.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately.
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and following food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly for a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink pairing recommendations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
