Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. This role is essential in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience by checking in regularly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for billing purposes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Understanding of food handling practices and sanitation standards within the food industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately during cashiering duties.

• TABC & Food Handler certified

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
