Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems (Toast), ensuring efficient communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub exposure
• Strong culinary knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills and guest relations abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or food preparation is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order calculations
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
