Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with genuine hospitality.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions smoothly using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, wine pairings, and beverage options such as spirits and cocktails.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met through proper handling, serving techniques, and cleanliness.
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Support team members with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining a clean environment throughout shifts.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to process sales transactions accurately while handling cash or credit payments confidently.
• Basic math skills for bill calculations, change handling, and inventory tracking.
• Culinary experience or food industry background is beneficial for understanding menu offerings and food safety practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by restaurant hours.
