Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual setting. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha or Micros
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems such as OpenTable
• Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and reset for new guests
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Support team members during busy periods, including host/host duties or bussing tables

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is a plus
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
