Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a Toast POS systems
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables efficiently, and assist with food preparation when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food handling regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife venues like nightclubs
• Knowledge in working with POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to multitask efficiently with effective time management in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Experience with bussing, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles that involve serving or guest services
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
