Josephine's is a modern Italian restaurant in Baton Rouge serving housemade pastas, pizzas, seasonal dishes and classic Italian favorites. We're part of Davis Hospitality Group, a locally owned restaurant group that also includes Eliza Restaurant & Bar and JED's Local.

About the Position

We're looking for friendly, dependable Servers who genuinely enjoy taking care of guests and working as part of a strong team. Our servers should be comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant, interested in food and beverage, and committed to providing warm, attentive service from the moment a guest sits down until they leave.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Learn our food, wine, cocktail and beverage menus and confidently answer guest questions
• Take accurate orders and enter them promptly into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages while monitoring tables throughout the dining experience
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar and other members of the service team
• Process guest payments accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation and responsible alcohol-service standards
• Complete opening, closing and side-work responsibilities
• Help your teammates and contribute to a positive, professional work environment

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in hospitality, food and taking care of guests
• Dependable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing and eager to learn our food and beverage program
• Available for a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends
• Must meet applicable age requirements for serving alcohol and be willing to obtain any required Louisiana alcohol-service certification
• Restaurant experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate

Compensation

$2.13/hour + tips. Tip earnings vary by shift and are not guaranteed.
