We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
• Take accurate orders for food and beverages, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable to process transactions efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest satisfaction is maximized.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings, spirits, and food ingredients to answer guest questions confidently.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing duties.
• Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the dining experience.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is required; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Experience in beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with basic math skills for processing sales.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills paired with effective time management to serve multiple tables seamlessly.
• Knowledge of the food industry trends and a passion for hospitality that drives memorable guest experiences.

Pay: $23.48 - $28.27 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
