Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and provide attentive seating assistance as needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling of menu items like wine or specialty cocktails
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, spirits, wine pairings, and cocktail options to enhance guest experience
• Handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Support beverage service by preparing drinks according to recipes and standards, including spirits experience and drink service expertise
• Manage guest relations by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring all guests feel valued

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in food handling
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service
