Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for seamless processing.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items including wines, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately; handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
• Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert recommendations.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently.
• Experience in food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards required for maintaining health regulations compliance.

Pay: $2.13 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
