Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food service team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
• Demonstrated sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to maximize revenue
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
