Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service areas, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food preparation, busing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
• Use beverage knowledge—including spirits experience and wine expertise—to recommend pairings and upsell specialty drinks like cocktails or fine wines
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proven ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques
• Ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously through excellent time management skills
• Familiarity with sales techniques such as upselling and openTable reservations is advantageous
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently

Pay: $2.13 - $10.00 per hour
