Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling additional items like wine or spirits to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables as needed to ensure a tidy environment
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when necessary
• Build rapport with guests by providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and spirits experience options

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality of service
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest experience
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
• Experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus; hospitality background preferred
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
