Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, spirits, wine, sake and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process cash and card transactions accurately while managing sales transactions with integrity
• Upsell menu items, daily specials, and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine and beer knowledge or options and resolving any concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, and effective communication
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and beverage pairing techniques
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn food preparation standards is essential
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one prior to employment is preferred

Pay: $10.00 - $28.33 per hour
