Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Auphan POS, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation throughout the process
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, service stations, and during food preparation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for billing, change calculation, and order accuracy
• Experience in serving, upselling, food preparation, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure guest satisfaction
• A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and creating welcoming environments

Pay: $17.60 per hour
