Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such , ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems .
• Strong culinary knowledge and food industry experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Background in food service with a focus on customer service excellence and guest relations
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
• Experience with restaurant operations including serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, and kitchen support if needed
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
• English and Spanish
