Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, ensuring proper drink presentation and safety standards
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and tip management
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales potential

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong focus on guest relations
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Strong understanding of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with fine dining service styles or upscale restaurant settings is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
