Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques to maximize sales.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of wine lists, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients to assist guests with recommendations and pairings.
• Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.
• Support team efforts by bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and assisting with guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues proactively.
• Promote specials and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue opportunities.
• Uphold sanitation standards and ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and inviting at all times.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing sales efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
