Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cashiering and food handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and manage guest flow
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• Proven experience as a server in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing, host/hostess duties or kitchen support is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food industry terminology and culinary concepts to better assist guests
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required in a fast-paced hospitality environment
