Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and well-cared-for from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and bussing tables promptly.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options to elevate the dining experience.
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or breaking down service stations.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring guest needs are met with professionalism.
• Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver smooth service during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly.
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality combined with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
