Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
• Present menus, recommend dishes, and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to ensure repeat visits
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations
• Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen support is advantageous but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
