Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service in a fine dining environment. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, food safety, and seamless service flow to ensure guests enjoy memorable dining experiences.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained throughout service.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and resolve any issues efficiently.
• Maintain guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing questions or concerns professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
• Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating arrangements and managing waitlists.

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly preferred.
• Previous food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Experience with food preparation, food handling, and general hospitality operations is advantageous.
