Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Participate in ongoing training related to hospitality, food safety, and guest services.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on restaurant experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
