Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable visit. Your ability to engage with customers and provide outstanding guest services will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, such as OpenTable, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
• Strong culinary knowledge with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
• Excellent upselling skills to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue.
• Proficient in guest services with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially in nightclub settings if applicable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.51 - $25.00 per hour
