Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Saphire Spectra POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring proper food presentation in accordance with health regulations
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and reduce wait times
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest service excellence
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with Resy is a plus
• Strong understanding of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation
• Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly
• Basic math skills for bill calculations, change handling, and sales processing
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred
• Exceptional communication skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Prior experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is advantageous

Pay: $15.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
