Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met for all dishes and drinks.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including cash handling and inventory checks.
• Foster guest relations by providing attentive service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently using beverage knowledge such as wine and spirits expertise.
• Culinary experience or food industry background that supports understanding of food preparation and presentation standards.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
