Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing menu recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Assist with training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed.
