Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using Shift4 POS
• Prepare simple food items following safety and quality standards, including assembling orders and maintaining food presentation.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation processes.
• Manage customer transactions accurately, processing cash, credit card payments, and retail sales transactions with precision.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas, counters, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle cash register operations confidently while processing cash transactions and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Support the team in serving guests promptly while ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Shift4 for order processing and cashiering.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Previous retail sales or upselling experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to handle high volume and high stress environments
