Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to foster a welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and special dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while handling cash securely
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine pairings, or special requests with expertise in food industry practices

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated culinary experience along with beverage service expertise including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to process sales transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and math skills
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward diverse guests in a hospitality setting
• Experience working in nightlife or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required
• Strong communication skills paired with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
