Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions smoothly and efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a lively dining atmosphere
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and open table reservations is a plus
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and foster guest satisfaction

Pay: $16.00 - $16.01 per hour
