Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Chowbus POS ensuring prompt processing of sales transactions
• Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately, handle change, and manage receipts with attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with food handling, bussing, and sanitation protocols as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Chowbus POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Proven ability in food service roles within the food industry or fine dining environments
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beverage service, and cocktail preparation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced restaurant setting

Pay: $23.47 - $28.27 per hour

License/Certification:
