Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise
• Process sales transactions accurately while managing cash handling and credit card payments with POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities by leveraging sales techniques and product knowledge
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly, assisting with food handling and food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold high-quality food presentation
• Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations, address concerns promptly, and ensure a memorable dining experience
• Assist with food preparation or setup when needed to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Follow all sanitation standards including proper food handling procedures to ensure safety for both guests and staff

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Experience in upselling menu items to boost sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in the food industry
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales quickly and professionally
• Basic math skills for bill calculations and transaction processing are essential
