THIS POSITION IS FOR OUR NEWLY OPENED LUNCH SHIFT. SERVER IS REQUIRED TO ARRIVE BY 10:30 TO OPEN RESTAURANT AT 11AM. THIS SHIFT RUNS UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 3:30/4:00

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Provide detailed wine, spirits, and cocktail recommendations based on guest preferences, upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments, while maintaining accountability for cash register operations
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food preparation details and dietary restrictions, to answer guest questions confidently
• Uphold food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service flow

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation training prior to start date
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or bartender is beneficial but not mandatory
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends
