Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of special requests and dietary needs
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, spirits, and wine with precision, demonstrating excellent drink service skills and cocktail experience
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing, while maintaining accuracy and accountability
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales by recommending popular dishes, drinks, or specials
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and food safety protocols
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach
• Basic math skills for bill calculation and sales transaction processing
• Experience in serving in high-energy settings like nightclubs or casual dining establishments is preferred
