Grano is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hospitality-minded Server to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has restaurant experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person

What you’ll do:

• Welcome and serve guests with genuine hospitality
• Take orders and provide menu knowledge
• Deliver food and drinks efficiently
• Keep your section clean and organized
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team
• Help create the fun, welcoming atmosphere Grano is known for

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining proper beverage presentation standards
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through knowledgeable recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling when necessary
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to uphold high service standards

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings, including fine dining
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures and certificates
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a vibrant hospitality environment
