At City Grill you will have the opportunity to join a team of industry professionals in delivering a supreme dining experience at Montgomery's finest white tablecloth establishment. For 28 years, City Grill has been delivering extraordinary service with dishes known for quality and consistency. As a member of our small team, you will work closely with your peers to uphold a high standard of efficiency and a clean work environment. We pride ourselves in a fun, fulfilling workplace that delivers on its promise of excellent food and service to all guests. With the new addition of our two event spaces, you will also have the optional opportunity to participate in larger catering events and plated dinners.

Hours & Pay

• Full-time or Part-time
• 5pm - 8:30pm Tuesday - Thursday
• 5pm - 9:00pm Friday - Saturday
• Closed Sunday/Monday
• Excellent tips and high check average

Duties

• Provide top tier professional service efficiently with a warm and engaging attitude
• Recite evening specials and desserts with accuracy and make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Recommend wine pairings, specialty cocktails, and other beverages
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Ensure cleanliness in dining areas by efficiently bussing tables and replacing table cloths
• Work closely with other members of the team to ensure service standard is upheld in all areas
• Maintain at all times a positive attitude and work ethic.

Preferred Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is essential, ideally with fine dining in a white table cloth setting
• Extensive wine knowledge with experience providing bottle service
• Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus
• Demonstrated skills in customer service
• Experience with food handling, sanitation protocols, and food safety standards
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food industry terminology including culinary processes and food preparation techniques
