Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Jonas
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest requests proactively

Qualifications

• Prior food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining settings
• Familiarity with POS systems like Jonas
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus to better understand menu items and food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
