Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained during food handling and service
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
• Support food preparation and food industry best practices to ensure quality service delivery
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and processing
• Strong culinary experience or understanding of food preparation techniques in a restaurant setting
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Proven ability in sales techniques including upselling to maximize revenue opportunities
• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is highly desirable
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for bill calculations and cash handling
• Previous experience as a host/hostess or server with strong guest interaction skills
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, bussing, and general food industry practices
