Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, desserts, or premium selections to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles within restaurants, fine dining establishments, nightclubs or similar settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless sales transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Culinary experience combined with beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service techniques
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and processing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests
