Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, ensuring proper presentation and timing
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely
• Upsell menu items including wine, specialty drinks, or desserts to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and assisting in food handling and preparation when needed
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with serving guests in hospitality or food industry roles is highly preferred
