Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail, wine, spirits, and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure timely service
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries promptly, and resolve any concerns professionally

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Proven ability in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or upscale environments
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Demonstrated sales skills with a talent for upselling menu items effectively
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Previous experience in nightlife venues or restaurants with host/hostess or serving roles is a plus
• Knowledge of OpenTable reservation system or similar booking platforms is advantageous
