Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, sharing your culinary and beverage knowledge, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bar team
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs via OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and food safety protocols
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is desirable
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $5.50 per hour
