Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of service and food safety.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any needs or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
