Job Summary

Albert Marquis Hospitality Group is seeking professional and enthusiastic Servers to join our front-of-house teams. With concepts ranging from modern American cuisine (Table 128) to Mediterranean-inspired wood-fired dining (Hugo’s Wood-Fired Kitchen), this role offers the chance to provide memorable dining experiences at some of Des Moines’ most distinctive restaurants.

About Us

Albert Marquis Hospitality Group proudly operates two acclaimed restaurants:

• Table 128 – A modern American restaurant in Gray’s Landing, known for its seasonal menus, Chef’s Tasting Menu, and curated wine program.
• Hugo’s Wood-Fired Kitchen – A Mediterranean-inspired restaurant featuring artisan pizzas, small plates, and entrées influenced by Italy, Lebanon, and Turkey.

Both restaurants are chef-driven, locally owned, and committed to creating meaningful guest connections.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience with professionalism
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide detailed food and beverage knowledge
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely, polished service
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver attentive hospitality throughout service
• Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables and side stations
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless service
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in a restaurant setting preferred (fine dining or polished casual a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Guest-focused, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $4.35 - $70.00 per hour
