Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer services while serving beverages· and meals to patrons seated at tables in the dining room(s) located in the Community. will assist in the Dining Services Department with essential and basic clean-up.

Duties

• Immediately report any suspected abuse, neglect or misappropriation of resident funds or property to immediate supervisor.
• Able to maintain work pace appropriate to given workload. Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality within specified tolerance.
• Demonstrate awareness of sanitation regulations in handling and storing food.
• Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean all other parts of the work area and equipment as needed.
• Perform general cleaning of dietary department, including vents, ovens, vent hoods over ovens, and outside garbage area.
• Organize stock and make deliveries, as needed.
• Demonstrate awareness of safety rules in the kitchen
• Take beverage and meal orders.
• Collect order from kitchen, add appropriate garnish, place meal on tray, and serve to patrons with napkins and condiments.

• Serve dining room patrons with the highest level of customer service.
• Responds to community issues or concerns that may occur in the dining room. Reports issues/concerns to the Dining Services Director or designee immediately.
• Perform work assignments and attend required in service training. Report concerns and problems to supervisor.
• Provide support to other departments, as directed.
• Be familiar with Volante Senior Living Policies & Procedures Manual and Volante Senior Living Team Member Handbook
• Demonstrates an understanding of compliance and ethics program policies and procedures.
• Completes all mandatory compliance, HIPAA and state and federal regulatory training as required.
• Must be willing and able to work required and scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
• Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Volante Senior Living.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
